Well SEXBOT6000 is now online. That is the name we have chosen for our wireless network. Now I can finally catch up on all my sitting in front of the computer.

I'm not getting laid off any time soon. In fact they just offered me a permanent position so now I'll get a slight raise and benefits. Of course I lose all the freedom I have as a contractor. turns out I worked over 60 hours last week. People wonder how I managed to get sick over the weekend. I'm fairly sure it was all the long hours at a stressful job. Pluss side is I bought myself a fancy disco router with flashing LED's and wonderful coverage of the apartment. I'm sure if our neighbors had the password they'd be interfacing with sexbot6000 all the time.

You know for being away so long I have relatively little to say. We're Playing DnD again and people seem to be enjoying it. Maybe we can convince Rei to play in this one. Party needs a healer other than a dwarf who seems to enjoy giving advice for moving ones bowel.

I am posting from my parents house becasue aparently we won't get getting our internet at the apartment for at least 2 more weeks. How does one pass the time for a month without internet or TV? I sit in a room and stare at the wall while listening to the ducks laugh at Casey as he trips on his way up the stairs. It really is quite exciting. We also watch DVD's and drink sake while hoping the neighbors can't overhear our conversations because they could be misinterpreted. Like when Casey says "it was in my mouth and I couldn't swallow it" he was refering to the sake.

I've been working lots of OT since there is no reason to go home. Yay money.

I should probably go because I just heard my nephew say "oops" followed by "I didn't do anything." That means he did something :P.

Tomorrow the move begins. I can't think of a better way to spend the weekend after a 60 hour work week than to move. the lady at the apartments was telling Casey that they went up to our apartment today and didn't want to go back to work because they were watching the nutria play down in the wetland and hummingbirds kept coming up to the deck. Casey told her to stop trying to sell the place to us cuz he'd already given her the check.

I'ma go pack more things. Everyone needs to come over for some gaming after we move in.

So as I limped around work I started getting very annoyed that I had to keep running back to the stockroom for parts. Then it dawned on me. Rosie is on vacation and that makes me the boss in the setup area. As boss I decided it was Tyler's new job to run back to the stockroom whenever I needed parts so that I wouldn't have to limp all over the place. That seemed to work out well even though I don't make him work overtime so I had to get all my parts after he left :P. They let all the contractors go home at 2:00 today. I'm a contractor but they wanted me to stay and help the night shift get things going. Instead of going home at 2:00 I left work at 5:00 :P I frickin got to work at 5:00. It was worth it though cuz the extra money is helpful.

Brought home boxes. Need to pack.

(edit) Damn I just noticed my date was off on my computer and all of my entreis for the apst month have been a month ahead. fixed it now.

I think I broke a toe. I smashed my foot into the wall as I was entering the kitchen and it doesn't look good. pretty sure I'm going to lose the nail on the middle toe. I also think I broke the 4th toe when in a heroic act it jumped out in front of the pinky toe taking most of the damage and protecting the pinky from any serious harm. I smashed my foot in the same spot twice yesterday with no real harm done but today I was in more of a hurry and hit HARD.

I'ma go look for some ice now.

Role Playing has been canceled until after we move into the new apartment. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Didn't make it to work today. This time I wasn't sick or anything. I left early so I could get to work ahead of schedule but fate had other plans. I made it 3/4 of the way there when the car decided it was done and it just didn't want to go any more. I figured it was something electrical because the dashboard lights had dimmed and the radio went off just shortly before the car stopped. I had a tow truck come out and take the car over to my parents house where we verified that it was the alternator that had gone out and we then proceeded to replace it. While we were at it I had my brother hook up his device to get the codes from the computer so I could see why my check engine light was on. Turns out I had a faulty EGR sensor so we went ahead and replaced that too. Now everything is running great and the check engine light that has been illuminating my life with it's amber glow ever since I got the car has been extinguished.

Work: At work they have decided to put on a night shift to help get things done that they haven't been able to finish during the day. The problem is the night shift is understaffed. They don't have a person who can do my job on the night shift and they will not let me move to the night shift which just means I have to put in more overtime to keep everything running. My job is one of the most stressful jobs on the manufacturing floor and I mostly do it by myself. It is my responsibility to make sure all of the parts for a board are on the correct feeders and in the correct slots on the machines that place them. I'm under pressure to get it all done as quickly as possible to prevent downtime on the machines which is costly to the company. To make matters worse most of the parts I need to setup are used on other boards and we don't have extra reels so a good portion of my time is spent searching all over for reels we've recently used that haven't yet been returned to stock. this is why I won't be laid off anytime soon. there isn't anyone willing to do my job other than me.

Home: Packing stuff up for the move. Man I have a lot of junk. I think I'll use this packing time to throw out a bunch of things I don't really care about and just keep as part of my packrat nature.

I've started working out some new recipes in my head in order to eat healthier since Casey is complaining about his expanding waistline. Mmm I like food. I also like experimenting in the kitchen so Hooray for Casey's grumbling. Unfortunately I seriously doubt he can stick to any diet and he'll be drinking regular soda and eating fast food again in a week.

Other: social life is nil. feel a bit lonely. need to fix it.

I go from working 65 hour weeks to working 1 day this week :). I had monday and tuesday off for the 4th. Then I had to work wednesday because for some reason it made sense to the big wigs. Now I have thursday and friday off because they need to verify inventory and cannot do production at the same time. Hopefully my second 4 day weekend is better than my first because I spent most of the time in bed sleeping off my exhaustion.

Still working out new living arrangements.

found my wallet!!! it was in my damn sweatshirt.

ok so this weekend I was mostly out of it. I kept locking my keys in the trunk and now I cannot find my wallet. The last time I definitly remember having it was when were were clearing out the tent and I took it out of the net thingie. I may have had it Sunday night but I'm not positive. I pulled out the tent and checked it but it wasn't in there and now I have to find a place I can lay the tent out and rol it back up. I've checked the back seat of my car and also the trunk. I've completely unpacked my bag and done all my laundry and still have no idea where I put it. I'm betting it is somewhere in my room and probably in plain sight but I just keep overlooking it.

I'm listening to the CD Tabby gave me and although some of it is enjoyable it also has a lot of really weird stuff. Maybe it wouldn't be as weird if I could understand it though.
